The Annual Meeting returns to beautiful Amelia Island for the first time in six years! Situated on Florida's northeast coast, Amelia Island offers both stunning natural beauty as well as a compelling history. Our host hotel, the Ritz-Carlton, offers easy access to our full agenda and puts you close to all our site visits, optional activities and other attractions. 

Your in-person Annual Meeting registration will guarantee you’re in the room for all our general sessions, breakouts, meals and receptions. Plus, you’ll have countless opportunities to connect with peers and experts from the Southeast and beyond!

As a result of strong interest in this year's Annual Meeting, our hotel room blocks at both our host hotel, the Ritz-Carlton, and our overflow hotel, the Residence Inn, are currently sold out. However, we are taking steps to ensure as many of our members as possible can join us in Amelia Island and have a great experience:

  • We have provided a list of alternate hotels below. This includes the Residence Inn, where rooms are available outside our reserved block. Any attendee staying at the Residence Inn will have access to a complimentary shuttle throughout the Annual Meeting. We strongly recommend you book a room at one of these hotels as soon as you register for the conference.
  • We are contacting member organizations that have booked rooms at the Ritz-Carlton and Residence Inn for more people than they have registered for the conference. These members will be asked to register the appropriate number of people for the Annual Meeting within 24 hours. At that point, any excess hotel room reservations will be canceled.
  • If your organization is currently holding more rooms than you intend to use, please contact Quincy Kelly immediately at quincy@philanthropysoutheast.org to help us reconcile our records.
  • Any rooms that become available through this process, or other cancellations we receive, will be made available to those on our waitlist for rooms at the Ritz-Carlton and Residence Inn. You can sign up for the waitlist here. We strongly recommend you book other accommodations from the list below before adding your name to the waitlist – we cannot predict how many rooms will become available between now and the Annual Meeting.

Philanthropy Southeast's Code of Conduct 

Philanthropy Southeast is composed of a broad and diverse membership of grantmakers. At our core, we are a community of grantmakers connecting with each other to improve the practice of grantmaking in the Southeast.

At our meetings and events, we also welcome visitors from other organizations – which are not members – that participate as presenters or participants. We strives to create a comfortable place for all Members, visitors, and others engaged in philanthropy to exchange experiences and ideas and engage in conversations that are welcoming and of benefit to all participants. As such, Philanthropy Southeast is not a venue for grant seekers, fundraisers, or other types of charitable solicitations during any of its meetings, events or through its publications nor is it an appropriate venue to conduct political activities. We ask that our Members and visitors not solicit at Philanthropy Southeast-sponsored events or programs and that Members and visitors not use information obtained through their Philanthropy Southeast membership or participation in Philanthropy Southeast events for charitable, business or other solicitations outside of those events.
