S.E. Spencer Keziah
Manager, Partnerships & Program Development
As Philanthropy Southeast’s Manager, Partnerships & Program Development, S.E. Spencer Keziah leads efforts to design and manage educational programs for our members while also identifying opportunities for partnerships tied to content and sponsorships. Combining her skills in program management, volunteer management and collaboration, and thought leadership, she works closely with Philanthropy Southeast members and committees to plan programs and resource development efforts.
S.E.’s goal is to create space and facilitate gatherings for our members to listen, learn and collaborate – with each other and other experts in the field – to build an equitable and prosperous South. Each day, she looks forward to connecting with members and learning about the innovative work they support in communities across the region. Her role allows her to travel throughout the Southeast, experiencing its diverse communities while creating learning and networking experiences that strengthen relationships and deepen philanthropy’s impact.
S.E. came to Philanthropy Southeast in 2018 with vital experience that included research on corporate volunteer programs and consulting and facilitation for adult learners. She has managed fellowship programs for Habitat for Humanity and the North Carolina Department for Health and Human Services. She has also advised students at North Carolina State University minoring in nonprofit studies.
After receiving her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina, S.E. earned a Master of Public Administration degree from North Carolina State University and an instructional design certificate from the University of Illinois.
S.E., a passionate Tar Heels fan, is born and raised in the Southeast, including time in Virginia, Georgia and North Carolina. While she enjoys a good cooking show, she always prefers to be outside – tending to plants, walking her dogs or leading tree tours as a docent for Trees Atlanta.
