Philanthropy Southeast Announces Promotions on Programs & Partnerships Team
Philanthropy Southeast recently promoted two members of our Programs & Partnerships team, reflecting the team’s growing expertise developing and delivering opportunities for our members while also cultivating strong relationships throughout the sector and beyond.
S.E. Spencer Keziah, previously a Senior Programs Associate, is now Manager, Partnerships & Program Development. The new role recognizes S.E.’s leadership in launching new, groundbreaking initiatives, including Philanthropy Essentials and the Janine Lee Learning & Leadership Collaborative. S.E. has also built and developed mutually-beneficial relationships with members, other philanthropy-supporting organizations, and vendors, collaborating with them on sponsorship and support packages, as well as content partnerships, tied to the Annual Meeting and other programs. Throughout her eight years at Philanthropy Southeast, S.E. has created learning and networking experiences that strengthen relationships and deepen philanthropy’s impact.
Utoia Wooten, who also previously served as Senior Programs Associate, is now Manager, Events, Programs & Impact. Utoia has overseen the launch of Philanthropy Southeast’s newest core program, Community Foundation Networking & Skills-Building for Senior Leaders, while also guiding the planning and execution of signature offerings like the CEO Forum, Hull Fellows Program, Philanthropy Essentials, the Community Foundation Boot Camp, and the Black Women Leading Philanthropy annual retreat. Since joining our team in 2021, Utoia has excelled at creating spaces where members can connect, reflect, and take away actional steps and tools to apply to their work.
“Anyone who has attended one of our programs knows how valuable S.E. and Utoia are to Philanthropy Southeast’s work,” said Tiffany Friesen, Vice President of Programs & Partnerships. “S.E. and Utoia both work closely with our members to plan offerings that are unrivaled throughout our field. Their contributions have helped ensure that Philanthropy Southeast remains an indispensable source of connection and learning for philanthropic leaders across the region."
